The Open Science and Research Winter Conference brings together researchers and experts of open science at Helsinki. Remote participation is also possible.

Short presentations are particularly welcome on topics related to the 2026 winter conference theme “From Open to Operational” and the national expert panels.

The research community is invited to provide comments and opinions on the Policy for Open Scholarship and the Policy Component on Open Access to Professional Publications by 13 September 2026.

The research community is invited to submit comments and views on the update of the policy component on open access to journal and conference articles by 20 March 2026.
