Do you or does your background organisation have an ongoing Open Science project or initiative? Come and present it at the Open Science and Research Summer Conference!

The 2024 Open Science and Research Summer Conference will be held on June 3–4. The Summer Conference is organised by Aalto University, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and National Open Science and Research Coordination. The first day of the event will be held in Aalto, Otaniemi campus. Meetings of expert groups on June 4 will be held online.

The presentations will be held on June 3. Remote presentating is not possible.

Like in previous conferences, participants have a chance to present short (max. 5 minutes) news about current projects or initiatives related to Open Science. Send the title of your presentation and a draft of your presentation slides to avointiede@tsv.fi by Friday April 15.

All current Open Science topics are warmly welcomed. However, in particular, news related to this year's theme “We <3 Data" , or to the work of the Open Science expert panels and working groups are appreciated. The PowerPoint presentation should include no more than two slides.

The final selection of the Open Science news presentations is done by the organising group of the conference, consisting of members from the organisations in charge of the event. The applicants will be informed of the final decision by April 30.
