The pre-conference will be held in Tietoniekka at the University of Jyväskylä library Lähde (Seminaarinkatu 15, 40012 Jyväskylä). The programme will be streamed.
14.00–16.00 Panel discussion: How can openness be implemented through education?
The panel will discuss how open science and research functions in lifelong learning, teacher education, and studies in Information Science, as well as how this impacts society.

Thursday 10.11: Seminar day (in Finnish)
The seminar day will be held in Tietoniekka at the University of Jyväskylä library Lähde (Seminaarinkatu 15, 40012 Jyväskylä). The programme will be streamed, and you can watch it at home or at The Finnish Environmental Institute: Team A4, SYKE (Latokartanonkaari 9, Viikki, 00790 Helsinki).
This year's theme will be examined from many different perspectives: societal impact and its evaluation, innovation, research-based information as a basis for decision-making et cetera. The day ends with a panel discussion on researchers as societal influencers.
The 2022 Open Science Prizes will awarded during the afternoon.
