Languages of the event are Finnish and English. Most of the program will be in Finnish. Plenary program will also be streamed online. Participation is free of charge.

The new Declaration for Open Science and Research that will be published on the 2025 Summer Conference begins by presenting a vision for responsible open science, where openness creates a foundation for equitable and accessible science and knowledge that promotes societal impact of research and sustainable development.

The program for the Summer Conference will be centered on the new declaration, impact and the visions for the future. Where does the new declaration take us? What role do impact of open science, responsible research assessment and the new vision for higher education and research play in the development?
