How to choose a service for data sharing & publishing?

There are many different services for sharing and publishing data, often called data repositories. How do I know what would be a reliable and appropriate service for a particular purpose and type of data? In this webinar on 9 October 2024 CSC aims to find answers to questions such as:

• What are some of the different data repositories and how do they differ?
• What at least should be considered when choosing a data repository?
• What are the main evaluation criteria for choosing a service from the perspective of the researcher and the organisation? 

The webinar is primarily aimed at researchers and data support personnel but open to all interested participants and has no prior knowledge requirements.

The idea for the training was born in Finn-ARMA’s Data Training Working Group and data management specialists from many different research organisations have been involved in designing the training (FSD, HY, TAU, UEF).
