Machine actionable Data Management Plans (DMPs) are one of the priorities in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA). The EOSC Finnish Forum organizes a webinar in cooperation with the DMP consortium and CSC, which will examine what kind of benefits machine-actionable, dynamic DMPs can bring to the research process and how different organizations at the national level are reacting to the trend of machine-actionability.

Sara Garavelli, The EOSC Finnish Forum Coordinator, EOSC Association Director and EOSC Programme Manager at CSC, will open the webinar by explaining the role of DMPs in the EOSC SRIA. Then, Tua Hindersson-Söderholm, Data Coordinator at CSC, will guide the participants to the future possibilities of data management plans.

We will hear two practical examples from two different organizations on how they have started working to increase machine-actionability in data management. Jari Friman, Information Specialist from Tampere University, will tell about the university´s dynDMP project and Juuso Marttila, Data Management Specialist from University of Jyväskylä, will present the DMP tool Vasara that is in use at University of Jyväskylä.
