Welcome to a webinar to learn about the latest updates from the global research data community, the Research Data Alliance (RDA)!
Heidi Laine, from CSC – IT Center for Science's International Collaboration unit, will present the topics of the upcoming RDA plenary in a public webinar on 5.11. at 11.00. The RDA 23rd plenary will be held in San José, Costa Rica from November 11-13. The meeting will cover many issues relevant to the Finnish research community, such as platforms for handling sensitive data, utilizing AI in research data management, and the organization of national research data services.
The webinar is intended for both Finnish RDA members and anyone interested in research data management. If you're not already familiar with RDA, the webinar will provide an overview of the organization and its activities, as well as tips on how to get involved.
The presentation section of the Webinar will be held in English and will be recorded. The discussion section can be held either in Finnish or English, depending on the participants' preferences. The discussion will not be recorded.
Founded in 2013, the RDA is a global membership organization focused on research data -related issues. It has over 14,000 individual members and 99 organizational members globally, with approximately 200 members from Finland. CSC is an organizational member of the RDA.
